Called, Empowered and Commissioned

The Roberta Winter Institute was founded by Dr. Ralph D. Winter in December 2001 with the primary focus of a new theological sensitivity for destroying the works of the devil (1John 3:8). While destroying the works of the devil will naturally include the urgent necessity of involvement on the physical level of combatting major human problems like apathy, corruption, racism, exploitation and violence, the particular niche we as an organization feel called, empowered and commissioned by God to fill is in the area of disease, specifically the eradication or neutralization of disease pathogens.

Mission

The Roberta Winter Institute (RWI) is a mobilization initiative of Frontier Ventures on a mission to ignite in the body of Christ a theological shift regarding disease and its eradication. The RWI exists to champion the cause of disease eradication for the glory of God.

What We Do

Toward this end, the Roberta Winter Institute drives new thinking, sponsors events, and fosters new research and initiatives aimed at conquering the roots of disease. This phrase, “roots of disease,” is key to the RWI’s existence. We are not mainly about treatment or cures, but about exploring the origins and causes of debilitating diseases with an eye toward global eradication.

Vision

The Roberta Winter Institute envisions a vibrant and sustained movement of believers who are committed to the eradication of specific diseases through careful strategies, generous funding, fervent prayer, and deliberate action, in demonstration of God’s will and for God’s glory.
